Marty met with Source Interlink Media in Los Angeles, Triathlete Magazine in San Diego and Hi-Torque Publications (Road Bike Action, Mountain Bike Action, etc.).

This new blog site will include articles on the Genuine Innovations line of CO2 Inflators and other bicyle and motorcyle parts and accessories, our road trips, trade shows, and whatever else we can dream up to write about.

Techno vs Retro - Second Wind Road - Co2 - Hand Pump

On July 25, 2008, Genuine Innovations shot a new video at Fairwheel Bikes in Tucson, AZ. The premise of this video was new vs. old, retro vs. techno, and Pumps Great vs. Quick Filling. We gathered up a pile of dedicated cyclists, shop rats, tri-guys (and gals) and staged a battle of ideals. Gord Fraser lead the retro movement and Jimmy Ricatello was the leader of the techno’s.

The battle was over a most profound issue, tire repair. The retro’s can only use a bicycle hand pump and the techno’s have to have their CO2 inflator. The confrontation gets ugly and friends become foes. It pits Leather helmets against aero helmets, Lycra vs wool, retro rides vs time trial machines. Co2 cartridges fly, pumps handles extend, heads get bashed. Gord wails on Jimmy, Jimmy throttles Gord, a nun battles a cowboy and then slugs a mariachi. All the while, the beautiful and multi talented presenter, Moe, models the product on the counter top.

Marty Mares hollers, “Hey!!! Everyone knows Genuine Innovations Second Wind Road can satisfy everyone. It’s a hand pump and CO2 inflator. Can’t we all just get along?” Silence rolls out across the shop floor…good tidings, love and happiness erupts from the chaos.

CO2Pros Videos Launched

Genuine Innovations has launched two new YouTube sites: www.youtube.com/InnoCo2 and www.youtube.com/co2pros. The two sister sites debuted with the new series of short videos: ATV CO2 Tire Repair & Inflation Kit to the Rescue!, Bigfoot and the ATV CO2 Tire Repair & Inflation Kit, and La Senorita and the Street CO2 Tire Repair & Inflation Kit.

The latest video, Katie Ellis - Microflate Nano, features Professional Triathlete, Hawaii Ironman Finisher, and National Champion - Katie Ellis. Max, the Super Tricyclist, rolls up on his tricycle to save the day with a Microflate Nano and a 16g CO2 Cartridge. Just press, twist and inflate. Max says - Save your pumping for the pedals.

Marty Mares, president of Genuine Innovations, and Tyler Ford, founder of www.ride-strong.com, have begun a series of instructional videos on how the various CO2 inflators work in a real world setting. Marty hopes this new avenue will help people to understand the simplicity, speed and value of using Genuine Innovations CO2 Inflators.

Co2Pros Blog Launch

Genuine Innovations custom valve division is breaking out on its own. The OEM, original equipment manufacturing, side of our company is about to break into the 50% territory as a portion of Genuine Innovations revenue. With the new release of Google Ads for our freshly patented Co2 Regulator, our hit rate to our website, www.co2pros.com has quadrupled.

We expect sales for our Custom Valve products to continue at the accelerated pace for the 2008 and beyond. We are all concerned for business in general with the economy slowing and yet our customer base is expanding so any contraction we see with a particular customer is offset with the growth we are currently experiencing.
